The perfect bunching beet at any size – our most refined beet. Zeppo produces roots with smooth skin, a round shape, minimal root hairs, and a very fine taproot. Tops are compact but exceptionally strong, ideally suited for bunching. Also our recommendation for baby beets, producing perfectly proportioned roots at a small size with short tops to match. More uniform and with higher yield potential than Red Ace.

Sowing Method : Sow directly outdoors when soil has warmed to 45°F (7°C). Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep, 15 seeds per foot, in rows 12–18 inches apart. Thin to 1 plant per 3 inches. Super easy – just plant and watch them grow.
